Look at Those Colors! Adoptable Parrot from Wilton
Wilton Parrot Rescue was founded in January 2010 in Wilton, CT and is a small home-based parrot rescue.
Harley is a 19 year old Blue and Gold Macaw who was surrendered due to a changing family situation. Harley is an exceptionally striking Blue and Gold who seems to bond with only one person at a time. He is a bit of a loner and does not care for other birds. He is hand and stick trained and has a small but articulate vocabulary. Harley would probably do best in an experienced, quieter household and would probably not be good around children. Harley’s favorite pastime is shredding phone books! Macaws live for 60+ years.
No same day adoptions, multiple visits are required.

Wilton Parrot Rescue is a small home-based parrot rescue. Our goal is to find permanent loving homes for surrendered or rescued companion parrots. We work with a limited number of birds at a time to ensure individualized attention for each bird and greater adoption success.
