Saddled with the NFL's only winless record, the 0-11 Indianapolis Colts are making a quarterback change.
Former University of Connecticut standout and Shelton native Dan Orlovsky will get the start on Sunday when Indianapolis visits the New England Patriots.

Orlovsky has started seven games in his NFL career, all wiith the Detroit Lions in 2008, when they became the first team in NFL history to 0-16. This season, he has played sparingly, completing 14 of 21 passes for 122 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions in mop-up duty.
The Colts have had a disastrous season without quarterback Peyton Manning, who has been out all year after undergoing neck surgery on Sept. 8.

Indianapolis signed 17-year veteran Kerry Collins to a $4 million contract to back up Manning, but Collins sustained a concussion late in a Week 3 loss to Pittsburgh.
Curtis Painter, a career backup himself, took over and started the next eight games for the Colts.
Painter played well early but then had four straight games with a quarterback rating below 51.0 heading into the Colts' bye week, which prompted fans to call for another quarterback change.
In Sunday's 27-19 loss to Carolina, Painter completed 15 of 29 for 226 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. The Colts drove inside Carolina's 5-yard line in the final minute, but their hopes ended when Painter was picked off in the end zone.
If the Colts fail to win any of their next five games, Orlovsky will have the dubious distinction of being a member of the only two teams in league history to go 0-16.
The Colts' remaining schedule includes home games against Tennessee and Houston and road contests at Baltimore and Jacksonville.
