Auditions for Shelton's Center Stage production of "12 Angry Men" will be held 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22. The cast requires 12 men between the ages of 20 and 70. Candidates are asked to arrive at 10 a.m. and stay until dismissal to allow for several readings with different actors.
Center Stage says:
"Twelve Angry Men" is a true "ensemble piece" in every sense of the word and presents its actors with a unique opportunity and level of involvement; all twelve actors are on stage for the entire play, and each one plays a juror with an integral role in the deliberations and in the storyline. Familiarity with the play (or the film) is encouraged, as readings will be done from the script. All roles are open and casting is open to everyone.
