Campaign Notebook: Shays Compares McMahon Strategy to 'Nothing'

Christopher Shays (R) has posted a video of Seinfeld's "Nothing" bit on his campaign website, comparing the infamous sketch to Republican opponent Linda McMahon's campaign strategy. 

Third District

Rosa DeLauro (D): DeLauro, along with U.S. Rep. Jim Himes (D-4) and U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D), announced a $938,360 grant for Bridgeport's The WorkPlace. The grant will help living conditions for 300 veteran families in Southwestern Connecticut, including housing stability and receiving benefits.

Fourth District 

Steve Obsitnik (R): Republican candidate Steve Obsitnik has agreed to refund campaign contributions, reports the Connecticut Post. Obsitnik won the nomination at the Republican convention on May 18, thus avoiding the primary election and no longer needs the funds intended for its campaign.
