Update: $50,000 Reward for Information About Shelton Teen's Homicide

A Shelton High School student was shot twice on March 15 in the driveway of a friend's house.

The state is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the March homicide of 15-year-old Kristjan Ndoj.

Under state law, $50,000 is the highest reward allowed, according to a statement by the State of Connecticut Division of Criminal Justice.

Ndoj, a Shelton High School student, was shot twice on March 15 in a driveway at a friend's house at 1 Agawam Trail in the Pine Rock section of town, Patch previously reported.

Family members told the New Haven Register in a July 3 article that they were frustrated that the case is taking so long to solve, and they hoped someone comes forward with information to police.

"Hopefully, this will generate information that will lead to the arrest and successful prosecution of whoever committed this horrific crime," said State’s Attorney Kevin D. Lawlor in the statement.

Anyone with information should contact the Connecticut State Police at 860-685-8190 or 1-800-842-0200.
