Shelton Man Allegedly Sexually Assaulted Girl

A Shelton man is accused of sexually assaulting a minor female whom he knew, police said Wednesday afternoon.
Michael Spease, 46, of Huntington Avenue, was arrested at home on a warrant charging him with first-degree sexual assault, two counts of second-degree sexual assault and one count of risk of injury to a minor.
Spease is being held on $100,000 bond.
According to police, "The arrest is the result of a lengthy investigation by detectives which began in September 2012. The alleged incidents occurred between 2008 through 2010."
