Morrison, arrested a year ago
in a domestic violence case, was charged Monday with violating a court
order that prohibited him from calling his wife in Darien, police
Over several days in May, Morrison placed more than
100 calls to his wife, Darien police said in a Tuesday news release.
Ashley Morrison, his wife, was previously an anchor for CBS MoneyWatch
The calls were made both to her residence on Hollow Tree Ridge Road and
to her cell phone, police said.
A judge in state Superior Court
in Stamford, issued an arrest warrant charging Morrison, 46, now of 50
Forest St., Stamford, with one count of criminal violation of a
protective order and one count of second-degree harassment.
His bond was set at $50,000, with a court appearance scheduled for Tuesday, June 17 (today).
