City Man Arrested Twice in Less Than a Month

Shelton Police charged the 34-year-old with larceny and burglary charges this time.

A 34-year-old Shelton man was arrested Feb. 4 on charges of third-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny.

Police said the man, Timothy R. Cellupica, of Howe Avenue, was arrested on Elizabeth Street. According to the state Judicial Branch website, the arrest stems from an incident on Oct. 2, 2013.

His bond was set at $10,000. Cellupica is scheduled to appear in Derby Superior Court on Feb. 20. No plea has been entered in the case.

Cellupica was also arrested in Shelton on Jan. 14, on a charge of third-degree larceny stemming from an incident in September of 2013. No plea has been entered in that case, according to the Judicial Branch website.
