Police Release Photo of Webster Bank Robber [Updated]

Updated, 11:50 a.m.

Shelton Police said a male entered the bank, at 375 Bridgeport Ave., at 9:55 a.m. with a note that he passed to a teller. He was handed an undetermined amount of money and fled.

There were no reported injuries.

According to the Hartford Courant, the getaway car was described as a silver, Nissan type of vehicle with New Jersey plates.

Webster Bank on Bridgeport Avenue was robbed Monday morning, according to the Hartford Courant.

 Shelton Police say they'll be releasing more information soon.

The last bank robbery in Shelton was on Dec. 10, at the Wells Fargo Bank on Coram Avenue. It remains unsolved.
