An Alleged Crash and Drugs
Nicholas Buchanan, 18, of Windsor Road, Shelton is charged with illegal possession of marijuana, sale of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia.
Police said they were investigating an accident on Ripton Road March 13 and saw Buchanan throw items onto a nearby lawn.

His bond was set at $2,500 for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.

Two people were arrested in separate alleged drunken driving incidents.
Don Dalonzo, 54, of Dexter Drive, Shelton, is charged with drunken driving on Bridgeport Avenue. He was arrested March 14 and he is scheduled to appear in Derby Superior on March 28.
On March 17, Thomas Edward Robinson, 49, of Peach Drive, Seymour, was charged with driving under the influence.
His bond was set at $500 for an April 1 court appearance.
