One person was taken to a hospital after a speedboat apparently developed a leak and took on water near a home on Birchbank Road, along the Housatonic River.
As it floated by, neighbors hauled it in, along with its occupants, witnesses said.
Officers from the state Department of Energy and Enovironmental Protection were investigating and were going to have the boat towed.
