Obituary: James J. Whiteley, Age 53

James John Whiteley, age 53 of Shelton entered into rest on Wednesday January 23, 2013 in the Griffin Hospital Derby. He is the beloved husband of Linda Iannone Whiteley.

Jim was born in Derby on April 7, 1959 loving son of Susan Bagley Whiteley and the late James Whiteley. Jim was raised and lived in Seymour, before moving to Shelton 25 years ago. He was a truck driver that started his career with Whitely Trucking and was currently employed with Tomra Inc. He loved to custom classic cars, motorcycles and music. He is father of Ashley Whiteley, the brother of Patrick Whiteley, Linda Foster, and Wendy Whiteley, the son-in-law of Louis and Margaret Iannone. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

On Monday, Jan. 29, the funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. for a funeral service at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Good Shepherd in Shelton.
