Obituary: Elizabeth J. Ziegler, Age 95
Elizabeth was the Secretary to the Shelton Superintendent of Schools for 56 years before her retirement in 1992.
Elizabeth J. Ziegler, age 95, of Ansonia, entered into rest on Sunday at Hilltop Health Care Center.
She was born in Derby on May 16, 1917 daughter of the late Christian and Ida (Meyer) Ziegler and was a resident of Shelton for most of her life before moving in with her sister 11 years ago.
Elizabeth was the Secretary to the City of Shelton Superintendent of Schools for 56 years Before her retirement in 1992. After retirement she loved spending time with her sister and Teddy their dog and companion.

She is survived by her sister, Edna Z. Randall, one nephew, Frederick Ziegler, Jr. and three nieces, Linda McGuire, Christine Barber and Deborah Randall and several great nieces and nephews.
Her service will be private. The Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Rd. Shelton are entrusted with the arrangements.
