Here's the tree donated by Shelton's Vargoshe family, which was revealed Wednesday night.

The spruce tree is 76 feet tall and weighs 12 tons.

It will stay up  through Jan. 7, and will be lit 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. every day and for 24 hours on Christmas Day.

Meanwhile, locally, Shelton's city Christmas tree will be lit up Dec. 8 on the Huntington Green at 5 p.m.
