Burger King Restaurant Raising Money for Cancer Research

guests can help fight childhood cancers by giving $1 to The Jimmy Fund through the A Chance for Kids program, starting July 25 through September 5, at participating Burger King restaurants in ten states across the Northeast. With each contribution, restaurant guests will receive a promotion card guaranteed to be a winner with prizes ranging from all-inclusive resort vacations, airline tickets, theme park admissions and Burger King food.

Through the A Chance for Kids program, 552 franchise and company owned Burger King restaurants set a goal to raise $1.1 million for pediatric cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

A Chance for Kids and participating Burger King restaurants have raised more than $9.5 million over the last 11 years for pediatric cancer research and care at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This year, Burger King restaurants in ten states will participate in the campaign: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont If Burger King reaches this year’s goal they will surpass the $10 million mark, making them one of the most successful corporate partners of the Jimmy Fund.
