Sassafras Update: A Couple More Months!

Update on Sassafras Diner! After being gutted by a late night fire last June, the rebuilding process is finally underway. Denise Poniros Dykes, who has worked at the diner for more than 10 years, gave this bit of info:

"Things are starting to move along. Unfortunately, I do not have an exact date for our grand re-opening, but I can say it will be at least another two months. It's hard to decide on a floor plan, especially since the restaurant has been there for 30 years and it's difficult to imagine it set up any other way. The good news is that we will definitely be back. I will surely let you know when I hear anything more."
