GoFundMe Campaign Started to Support Shelton Teen's Recovery

Fundraiser for Kristjan Ndoj and his family as the Shelton High student recovers from critical gunshot wounds.

As 15-year-old Shelton High School student Kristjan Ndoj fights for his life at Bridgeport Hospital, friends are taking to the Internet to help raise money to support his recovery.

Ndoj was shot twice just before 9 p.m. on Saturday while in a driveway on Agawam Trail. He was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening wounds to the leg and head and remains in critical condition.

Police are still investigating the incident.

Violet Thaqi Wills started a fundraiser on GoFundMe.com Tuesday and raised $40 from two donors in the first hour. The campaign has a goal of $5,000.

“We have set up donation collection for Kristjan and his family,” Wills wrote. “We are looking to help this family in any way. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated.”

Wills also asked that people “keep Kristjan in your thoughts and prayers.”
