Acting
– Grades 3-5
Tuesdays
from 4:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
An
introduction to acting for the elementary school student. Using theatre games,
improvisations, and scripts from plays, musicals and stories, the student will
receive an introduction to the fundamentals of acting.

Musical
Theatre – Grades 3-5
Tuesdays
from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m.
The
emphasis is on developing and furthering skills as a musical theatre performer.
Using songs from various musicals, the student will develop confidence and skill
as a performer who sings and dances.

Acting
– Grades 6-8
Wednesdays

A
more in-depth exploration of acting for the middle and intermediate school
student. Emphasis will be placed on developing roles from scripts, projecting
the voice, and fundamentals of stage movement.

Wednesdays

more advanced class for the middle and intermediate school student who wants to
grow as a performer. Learning various styles of musicals, students will improve
as singers and dancers who know how to “sell” a song with energy and
confidence.

– Grades 9-12
Thursdays
from 5:30 to 6:30
Advanced
acting techniques for the high school student. The focus will be on
interpretation of the script, character development, stage speaking, and
movement for the actor. Students will enhance their skills by working on scenes
from musicals and plays.
