I am a senior journalism major at Quinnipiac University, looking to embark on a career as a sports writer. Someday I'd love to cover a pro team beat but for now, I freelance for the Connecticut Post and here on Patch.com, covering youth and high school sports. When I'm not covering games, working or in class, I'm watching sports on TV. Are you surprised? lol. Currently I'm learning how to the play the guitar and I want to re-learn the piano. I used to be a jock; playing football, basketball and baseball when I was growing up. I played high school football at Notre Dame-West Haven, where I graduated in 2007. I love competition, that's why I want a career covering sports.
