After many years of informally sharing her talent for organizing with friends and relatives, Kelly Humiston founded New Leaf Organizing Service (www.newleaforganizingservice.com) in 2009. She brings more than 15 years of consulting, teaching, and administrative experience from the business and educational fields to this undertaking. More important, Kelly is passionate about organizing and providing her clients the ability to organize, declutter, and simplify their lives.  She earned a B.A. from Binghamton University, an M.A. from Syracuse University, and a certificate from New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Kelly is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers, the Institute for Challenging Disorganization, and the Association for Executive and Administrative Professionals.  She lives in Shelton and enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, aviculture, and volunteering. About New Leaf Organizing Service The age-old expression “to turn over a new leaf” is the inspiration for our name and logo. The leaf refers not to a plant leaf, but instead to a leaf of paper, or page, in a book. Therefore, to turn over a new leaf means to turn a page and symbolically start anew. We believe it’s never too late to turn over a new leaf and become organized, and it is our honor and privilege to help clients in that endeavor.
