Amy Shelin Primorac, Neighbor

I am a mother of three and an educator. I grew up in the Midwest, having moved three times before landing here in Monroe. My eldest is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh (2011) and Masuk (2007) ; my younger children are enrolled at the STEM Academy here in Monroe.

I have seen education from both sides of the aisle, as a parent as a teacher. I have taught at the elementary and middle school levels, in both the suburbs and the inner city.  

I have seen and worked in schools in four different states.  In addition I have taught at the university level, instructing adults.  

I have a gifted, honors student as well as a child with special needs; these differing abilities and skills have given me a wide range of educational experiences.
