Video: Children Volunteer for Shelton Clean Sweep

They are cleaning up all over town for Earth Day.

The annual Shelton Clean Sweep anti-litter cleanup takes place April 16-24 across the city in conjunction with Earth Day on April 22.

On Sunday, Patch visited a few volunteers participating in this year’s event. The Long Hill Neighborhood Kids were cleaning up along Long Hill Avenue. Cub Scouts from Pack 28 cleaned up along Shelton Avenue. And Scout Pack 24 picked up litter behind Booth Hill School.
