Shelton Resident Organized First Annual Dodge Ball Tournament

First Annual Dodge Ball Tournament raises $1,500 for two area nonprofits: The Kennedy Center and Sterling House. The following information comes from a press release by Cara Mocarski of Cutting Edge Communications.

Instead of spending the day at the beach this summer, nearly 13 teams played dodge ball inside for the benefit of The Kennedy Center and Sterling House in Stratford.

Dan L’Altrella of Shelton organized the First Annual Dodge Ball Tournament at Flood Middle School in Stratford. He raised a total of $1,500, which was split evenly between these two well-known organizations.

“Since my brother is a client of The Kennedy Center, I wanted to earmark funds for the many wonderful programs The Kennedy Center offers the community,” L’Altrella said.
