Flash Mob Surprise at The Shelton Fireworks!

Members of Shelton's community theatre group, Center Stage, and the Youth CONNection surprised attendees of the fireworks show with a flash mob performance.

Dozens of local thespians gave an impromptu performance to One Direction’s “What Makes you Beautiful” before the fireworks show began. Gary and Francesca Scarpa, directors of Shelton's Center Stage theatre, along with their marketing team planned the flash mob about two weeks ago and held secret rehearsals leading up to the annual Shelton/Derby fireworks event.

The Youth CONNection is currently heading into their eighth season with a production of Legally Blonde, which will hit the stage Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., July 27 through August 4. To purchase tickets to see more from these awesome, enthusiastic performers, click here!
