Shelton Biddy & Cousy Basketball Registration
The Shelton Biddy & Cousy Basketball Program is a volunteer organization that sponsors a basketball program for boys living in the city of Shelton.
Registration for its 2011-2012 Basketball Program will be held at the
Shelton Community Center, 41 Church Street.
Dates:
Tuesday, September 20, 6:00-8:30 pm
Thursday, September 22, 6:00-8:30 pm
Thursday, September 29, 6:00-8:30 pm
The Mitey Mite Program is an instructional basketball league for boys in
grades 2-3. Teams play once or twice weekly.
The Biddy Basketball Program is a competitive basketball program for boys in grades 4-7. The program is made up of two divisions. The Junior Varsity League is for boys in grades 4-5; teams usually play twice a week. The Varsity League is for boys in grades 6-7; teams usually play two games weekly.
The Cousy Basketball Program is a competitive basketball program for boys in grades 8-12. The Junior Cousy League is for boys in grades 8-9; teams usually play two games weekly. The Senior Cousy League is for boys in grades 10-12; teams usually play two games weekly. The Cousy program begins in December.
Registration fees for the Mitey-Mite, Biddy and Junior Cousy Programs are: $70 - 1st child, $60 - 2nd child, $50 - each additional child
Registration fee for the Senior Cousy League is $45. Make checks payable to: ‘Shelton Biddy Basketball’.
An adult must accompany all children and first time players need to bring their birth certificate. Program volunteers will be available to answer questions. Due to limited gym time, enrollment in each division will be limited.
A late fee of $15 will be assessed for anyone signing up after the last scheduled registration date. No refunds will be given once the first game has been played in the player’s division.
