The girls basketball team will take on Norwalk in the championship game of its holiday tournament on Friday at 7 p.m.
Kelsey Pendagast, Lauren McCone and Brittany Lampert all scored 13 points as the Gaelettes defeated Law 58-53 on Wednesday. Shelton won its second straight game to improve to 3-3.

Christian Pierre scored 20 of his 26 points in the second half Thursday as the Shelton boys basketball team defeated Bunnell 54-40 in the consolation game of the Masuk holiday tournament.
Ben Malay chipped in with 12 points for the Gaels, who improved to 2-4. Shelton opened a 26-17 halftime lead.
Bunnell pulled with 35-29 after three before Shelton put away the contest with a 19-11 spurt in the final period.
Matt Nolting led the Bulldogs with 12 points.
