USCG Auxiliary Safety Day

The USCG Flotilla 24-02 of Stratford,  will present a Day of Safety  Sunday 7/29th. The event will take place at

TC Marine Bait & Tackle at  445 River Road, Shelton from 9 to 1PM rain or shine.

USCG Auxiliary Members will be on hand to answer questions and present materials on lifejacket specifications, free vessel exams, and safe handling of both power and sailboats

 Also included is information on canoeing, kayaking, and stand-up paddle (SUP) sports safety.  Auxiliarists will assist with information on obtaining the boating certificate (required by the state of CT to operate a boat.)
