The storm cleanup is a tough job at the very least. People should be checking on their neighbors and helping them out. Remember the Golden Rule-to do unto others as you would have done unto you. If you want help, be willing to give help (a meal, a shower, a warm house, some shoveling) as well. I am sure the city is doing as much as they can as fast as they can. We all want our streets shoveled out. Also, if you need help, don't be too stubborn to ask for it. Better to ask for it now at normal hours, than to need it at 2 or 3 in the morning when it is more difficult and others are putting their lives and help at risk. Don't be too proud to ask for help. Better to get the help than to sit steaming about what is not available. People are inherently good and want to help others. Be as patient as possible and help others help you.
