Housatonic Way LLC, of which Mayor Mark A. Lauretti is a member, has sold land to Blue Heron Cove for $1.92 million.
Lauretti signed the paperwork, filed in the City Clerk's Office on recently.
According to town records, Blue Heron Cove has been allowed by the Planning and Zoning Commission to build housing on the land.
The Connecticut Post reported that the company plans to build 36 townhouses on the 12-acre riverfront property. The two- and three-bedroom units are expected to sell from $389,000 to $525,000 each, according to the paper.
