Special Election Today in Shelton
A special election is being held today in Shelton to fill the remaining term of Larry Miller, who passed away on May 31, as state representative for 122nd District.
Shelton registered voters are headed to the polls today to vote to fill the vacancy left by Larry Miller, the state representative in the 122nd District, who passed away May 31. Miller, a Republican, represented the 122nd for more than two decades.
The 122nd district covers a large part of Shelton, including most of Huntington, White Hills and Pine Rock Park, part of Stratford, Oronoque Village, and a small part of eastern Trumbull.
Democrat Arlene Liscinsky and Republican Ben McGorty, both of Shelton, are running to fill the vacant 122nd House District seat.

Polls will be open until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening. Shelton residents in the 122nd district can vote at Mohegan and Long Hill schools.
