Planning and Zoning commissioner Joshua Kopac officially stepped down from his position as of November 6. His resignation letter reads as follows:
"Dear Mr. Mayor & fellow citizens of Shelton:
On this election day November 6th, 2012 I would like to formally announce my resignation from the City of Shelton's Planning & Zoning Commission. This endeavor led me to the correct life path. A path where truth is the ultimate answer. But what is truth? Who can be a fair judge of truth? The answer lies within the heart & soul of man. Truth is subjective as each person typically has a different version of it. Truth boils down to our perception and how we process with out senses. With this being said, how can I judge a man without walking in his shoes first?
A real man does not need government, government needs man to thrive. Consider this note me opting out of the oppressive system. No longer am I consenting to the system that pillages its people through fear and control. A vote shows you are giving authority to have your life run by a babysitter. No more! A vote by not voting is more powerful of a statement than a regular vote being cast. It is time to rise up and take control of our own lives. You have the power to heal your life & you need to know that...Claim and consciously use your power.
Namaste my friends,"
Joshua S. Kopac
