Cops: Shelton Woman Stabbed Boyfriend

Recent arrests by Shelton Police.

Kathleen Lanigan, 50, of Oak Avenue, is charged with second-degree assault and second-degree breach of the peace.

Police said Lanigan stabbed her boyfriend during an argument. He was not seriously injured, police said.

She was arrested Feb. 13 at 1:20 a.m. and she appeared in Derby Superior Court Feb. 13.

Her next court date is March 7 and she is free on a written promise to appear in court.
