Shelton Teen Shot Saturday Dies in Hospital

Shelton High student Kristjan Ndoj passed away from injuries related to Saturday night's shooting.

Just before 11:40 a.m. Thursday, Shelton police reported that 15-year-old Kristjan Ndoj remained in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital, fighting to recover from gun shots to his head and leg.

Less than 20 minutes later, police confirmed that Ndoj had succumbed to his injuries and passed away.

Ndoj, a Shelton High School student, was shot twice on Saturday, March 15, while in the driveway of a residence on Agawam Trail in Shelton.

Police said Thursday that the investigation is ongoing and asked anyone with information to contact the Shelton Department at 203-924-1544. (Calls may be confidential.)

Emergency responders were called to the scene at 8:45 p.m. and rushed Ndoj to the hospital, where he was in critical condition for much of the week.

Friends and community members have come together to pray for and support Ndoj and his family, including a GoFundMe campaign that has raised over $10,000 in less than 2 days.
