Shelton Police Win Car Show Awards [Photos]

The Shelton Police Dept. won two awards at the sixth annual Sergeant Geoffrey Schweitzer Emergency Vehicle Show. The following information comes from a press release by Lt. Robert Kozlowsky.

On May 22, 2011, the participated in the 6th Annual Sergeant Geoffrey Schweitzer Emergency Vehicle Show. The event was held at the Connecticut Police Academy and it benefited the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

The Shelton Police Department won two awards in the show. The department won “Best Ford” and “Best in Show” for patrol vehicle 170. The awards were based on the design of the vehicle, the equipment, and set up of the vehicle. There were approximately 75 vehicles entered in the show from departments in CT and other New England States.

Sergeant Jamie Millington, who is in charge of vehicle maintenance and equipment, and Sergeant Tom Adams attended the event and received the awards.
