Shelton Police Blotter: Burglary, Firearm Possession and Larceny

A Shelton man was charged by Shelton Police with fifth degree larceny following an arrest on Elizabeth St. on May 14. Matthew Francis Bevans, age 32 of 46 Country Pl., Shelton, had his bond set at $5,000 and his court date was May 14.
Joshua Lainey, age 24 of 219 River Rd., Shelton, was arrested on May 14 and charged by Shelton Police with third degree burglary and third degree larceny. His bond was set at $5,000 and his court date was May 14.
Shelton Police arrested Matthew Cristino, age 28 of 32 Lakeview Ter., Derby, on May 13 on Howe Ave. Cristino was charged with driving under the influence, failure to drive right, illegal possession and use of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $5,000 for a court date of May 14.
Jalaal Tyhiim Steadman, age 27 of 29 Bassett St., Ansonia, was arrested by Shelton Police on May 13 and charged with weapons in vehicles and criminal possession of a firearm. His bond was set at $10,000.
