Shelton Homeowner Offers $2,000 Reward for Burglary Information

A large amount of cash was stolen Saturday from a River Road home. A $2,000 reward is being offered for information.

A Shelton woman whose home was burglarized Saturday is offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads the the arrest of the person who stole a large amount of cash, according to CT News.

Joan Kapral, who lives on River Road, told CT News she believes the burglar is someone who knows her family. She said her dog did not react to the burglar entering the house Saturday night.

The Shelton police spokesman told CT News police went to Kapral's house on River Road at 3:15 a.m. on Sunday. He said cash, a safe and paperwork were reported stolen from the house.
