Shelton Exchange Club Assists My Sister's Place

Donations will help "My Sister's Place" in Ansonia.

(Taken from press release) The Shelton Exchange Club has come together to help My Sister’s Place in Ansonia after a recent fire in an adjacent nightclub destroyed lots of their inventory. Three carloads of various items including clothing, housewares, costume jewelry, books, games, and toys have already been donated. The club has also established two donation bins in town. Bins are located at Goodman Insurance, located at 2 Long Hill Ave in Shelton, and at Blanchette Sporting Goods, located at 425 Bridgeport Ave in Shelton. Both businesses are involved in the club.

Anyone may make a donation at one of those two locations. My Sister’s Place is specifically looking for spring clothing, houseware products, costume jewelry, and silk flower arrangements.

This is one of the many causes that the Shelton Exchange Club assists. The Exchange Club is a group of people working together to make our communities better places to live through programs of service in Americanism, community service, youth activities, and its national project, the prevention of child abuse.
