Shelton Cops: Woman Kicked Car in Road Rage

Carolyn Meyer, 53, of Hillside Avenue, Milford, is charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree breach of the peace following a road rage incident.

Police said Meyer and another car were exiting Route 8 at exit 14 when she was allegedly cut off.

While stopped at the light at the end of the ramp, Meyer allegedly exited her vehicle and pulled a piece of the other driver's car molding off, before hitting his car with it, police said.

She then got back in to her car and fled. The other driver recorded her license plate and she turned herself in to police.

Meyer is free on a written promise to appear in Derby Superior Court.
