Bert Falsetti, 77, of Shaddock Road, Middlebury, is charged with fourth-degree sexual assault.
Police said Falsetti inappropriately touched a minor he knew in November 2013.
He was arrested by warrant and held in lieu of $10,000 bond for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.
