Police stopped two drivers, one for alleged DUI, recently.
Eulalia Abbe Beard, 51, of Brownson Drive, Shelton, is charged with DUI, insufficient insurance, driving with a suspended license and illegal operation of a motor vehicle.
Police said another motorist was following Beard, who appeared to be driving under the influence. Officers made her stop her vehicle and arrested her.
Her bond was set at $1,000 for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.
In a separate incident, Wilkinson Etienne, 30, of Alexander Drive, Bridgeport, is charged with failure to obey a traffic control signal, driving with a suspended license and insufficient insurance.
Police said he failed to stop for a traffic signal on Bridgeport Avenue and was arrested.
His bond was set at $1,000.
