Police Looking For Suspect in Citibank Robbery

The following information comes from a press release by Lt. Robert Kozlowsky of the Shelton Police Dept.

On Wednesday, June 22 at approximately 3:30 p.m.,  responded to , located at 850 Bridgeport Ave., for a report of a bank robbery. A preliminary investigation by detectives revealed that a light skinned black male approximately six feet tall entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The male left the bank and got into a late 90’s four door blue or gray Mitsubishi Galant.

There were no customers inside the bank during the robbery. No weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported.

Police are currently following all leads in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call the Shelton Police Department at (203) 924-1544.
