Police Looking For Cigarette Thieves

The following information comes from a press release by Lt. Robert Kozlowsky of the Shelton Police Dept.

On Monday, October 15 at approximately 3:00 a.m., Shelton Police responded to Buck Stop Citgo Gas Station, located at 429 Shelton Ave., for a burglar alarm.

Upon arrival police noticed that the rear door had been forced open. Police checked the business and the area, but did not locate any suspects. Detectives responded and processed the scene. Surveillance video shows a small compact vehicle parking by the rear door of the store. Two white males enter the store
and take cartons of cigarettes. The males then leave in the vehicle.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Shelton Police Department at
(203) 924-1544.

Wouldn't it be something if these guys were hired by the tobacco companies to steal their own cigarettes, then prices on cigs go up, and the companies make more money...Just a far-fetched thought.
