Police Release Photo of Shell Station Robber [Update]

The following information comes from a press release by the Shelton Police Dept.

On Saturday, Oct. 6 at approximately 10:00 p.m., Shelton Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Shell Gas Station located at 99 Bridgeport Ave. The employee told police that a male wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and a black cloth covering his face entered the store and went by the register. The male displayed a gun and demanded money. The male then left the store with an undetermined amount of money. There were no other employees or customers inside the store when the incident took place. The employee was not injured.

Detectives responded to the scene and are currently investigating the incident.
