Police Arrest Sex Offender
The following information comes from a press release by Detective Ben Trabka
On Wednesday, March 9, arrested a man wanted for failure to register as a sex offender and violation of probation who was hiding in a downtown apartment building. Police arrested 31-year-old David Frasier who was wanted for two arrest warrants for over one year. Frasier had originally fled the state after violating probation and failing to register as a convicted sex offender.
Police detectives learned Fraiser was living with an 18-year-old girl and their young infant child in a downtown apartment. Last night police surrounded the apartment building located at 248 Howe Avenue. Police located Fraiser hiding in a third floor stairwell. Frasier was captured without incident.
Frasier was charged with railure to register as a sex offender with a court set bond
of $50,000. Fraiser was additionally charged with violation of probation which also had a $50,000 bond. Frasier was unable to post the bond and will be arraigned in
Derby Superior Court today.
