Pair Arrested on Felony Charges following Assault
The following information is supplied by the Shelton Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.
Police say they've arrested a 32-year-old East Haven woman and a 14-year-old boy in connection with an assault at a Shelton home earlier this month.
According to police, 32 year old Stacey Alberino of 121 Russo Ave., East Haven, has been charged with third-degree assault, first-degree burglary and risk of injury to a minor for her role in the Nov. 7 attack at 412 Howe Ave.
At about noon that day, police say, a 22-year-old female was assaulted by a male and female after answering a knock at her door. The victim, who was taken to a hospital for evaluation, told police that she had opened the door because the knocker identified himself as a police officer, and that the female attacker was her own boyfriend's ex-wife.
