Men Who Allegedly Robbed Shelton Gas Station Plead Not Guilty

Anthony Parowski, 24, and George Siler, 21, were each arrested via warrant at their homes on Dec. 11 as a result of a police investigation into the early evening robbery.

The two Stratford men arrested in connection with the and gas station on Shelton Avenue reportedly entered not guilty pleas in a hearing before Judge Richard Arnold in Milford Superior Court on Tuesday.

Anthony Parowski, 24, and George Siler, 21, as a result of a police investigation into the early evening robbery. They are each charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, criminal possession of a firearm and fourth-degree larceny. Each is being held on a $150,000 bond. Their case was continued to Jan. 25, according to a report in the CT Post.

Parowski was additionally charged with theft of a firearm, interfering with a search and possession of a controlled substance. Siler was also charged with possession of cocaine and reckless endangerment.

Siler reportedly fired one shot inside the store, in the clerk’s direction, during the holdup, when the clerk didn’t move fast enough in reaction to his demand for cash, police said. The clerk was not injured, police said, and the suspects fled with an unknown amount of money from the store's register.
