A Westport man faces larceny charges after allegedly in Fairfield.

A young New Canaan resident brought his SUV to a mechanic in Bridgeport who initially told the owner the car wasn't worth the cost of the repairs it needed, and offered to buy the car, according to police. The SUV’s owner declined the offer and opted to have the work done—about $500 worth of air conditioning and fluid leaking repairs.

Police said the two met for a in Stamford. The mechanic collected the $500 and asked for permission to drive the vehicle back to Bridgeport for future collection by the New Canaan man. When the man went to collect his car, the mechanic requested more money. New Canaan police were alerted, and contacted the mechanic. When he did not return the vehicle as requested, the owner reported the vehicle had been stolen.

Westport police arrested three New York City men for attempting to withdraw $3,600 from an account at Chase Bank at 184 Main Street in Westport. 

 responded to the  at about 12:30 p.m. where they took custody 48-year-old Raymon Morales. He was in possession of false identification when he was apprehended. 

Two other suspects arrived at the Chase Bank branch with Morales and were located nearby. Police arrested 24-year-old Isiah Walker and 25-year-old Wayne Cintron.

Christian Klein claims that his mom Adia Reyes attacked him with a knife, while Reyes told police that Klein struck her in the head with a glass bottle while her back was turned. On Sept. 10, occurred at the Greenwich Avenue shop, resulting in another NYC man.
