It is a shame , I work for the Bd of Ed here in Mt Vernon and these children are terrible, something really needs to be done, before someone gets hurt,

Good to see my hometown kids are keeping things interesting. Course, when you have a Mayor that says, "“I’m not going to act like a gentleman when it’s gangster time. It’s gangster time.”, then I guess events like these should be expected.

I think much of the problem in the black community is because the "Great Society" of the 60's right up to today has ruined their families and the democrats have made slaves of these folk. The dems have become Santa Claus and have made it easy to cheat the welfare system allowing fathers to go from woman to woman so fathers have become non-existent unlike their grandfathers and great grand fathers who stayed with one woman and family, for the most part. Your story also did not include the fact that when the police arrived to break this up they were attacked.

Excellent point. Some folks think welfare is so "great" but really what it does is hold people down for generations, cause negative stereotypes, and creates tensions among the socioeconomic classes.

The family destroying cycle is welfare, foster care, gangs, babies.
