Ex-Shelton Worker's Theft Case Continued

Sharon Scanlon, who resigned as Shelton's Assistant Finance Officer before being accused in January of stealing more than $1 million, is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 10.

She pleaded not guilty earlier this year to 57 felony larceny charges. She worked for the city for 17 years.

She was arrested Jan. 23, 2013, and her case is on the docket in Milford Superior Court reserved for more serious charges.

William F. Dow III is her attorney. The city has filed a lawsuit against her and plans on placing a lien on her Crescent Drive home.
