Dead Rabbit Prank in Glenn Close’s Hometown

Greenwich High School students nearly outdid town native Glenn Close this week, when they in a urinal of a boys' bathroom at the high school.

A 17-year-old from Riverside was arrested for creating a public disturbance in what’s being described as a senior prank.

"The rabbit caused alarm to school staff. The rabbit was roadkill and offended students," the school resource officer wrote in the arrest summons.

Close, a Greenwich native, is a five-time Oscar nominee who famously played Alexandra Forrest in 1987’s “Fatal Attraction,” a spurned mistress who boils her lover’s family rabbit.

A 38-year-old patient at Norwalk Hospital was arrested after she used her cane to when she objected to the idea of the nurse inserting a catheter into her, police said.

The patient told another nurse that she "hit that nurse good," according to police. She told police that she did raise her cane, but didn't mean to hit the nurse with it.

The nurse, who was hit on top of her head, was not bleeding after the Friday afternoon incident, but she had a bump on her head.

A Fairfield man who because he was upset that noisy landscapers working on their boss' house woke him up was arrested Thursday at his home.

The 39-year-old emerged from his home late morning, walked across the street and yelled at the landscapers to turn off their blowers, police said. When the landscapers told him they were working, Seiler yelled some more and then went back to his house, got a rifle and stood in his doorway holding it, police said. He then yelled, "Yo, look!" at the landscapers, police said.
